What is Relay?

Relay is a free Mac app that sits in your notch. You list your tasks, and it times them one at a time, so you always know what you're working on and what's next. No account needed. Relay Pro ($15.99 once, no subscription) keeps an eye on your AI coding tools: it tells you when Claude Code or Codex is still working, done, or waiting on you, and how much of your usage limit is left.

Is Relay free?

Yes. Task Notch, Screen Break, and unlimited tasks are free forever, with no account required. Relay Pro is a one-time $15.99 purchase — there is no subscription.

Does Relay work with Claude Code and Codex?

Yes. Relay Pro shows how much of your Claude Code and Codex usage limits are left, and whether an agent is still working, finished, or waiting on your response — all from the notch, without switching windows.

Does Relay need an API key or an account?

No. Relay reads the usage data your coding tools already write to your own Mac. There is no sign-up, no API key, and no server to connect to.

Does Relay send my data anywhere?

No. Your task and usage data stays on your Mac. Relay contacts the network only to verify a Pro licence purchase.

What does Relay Pro include?
